For 2010 we have chosen to support the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). By having a firm wide charity with a base in Nottingham we were able to combine our individual and corporate fundraising activities to make a real difference.
The NSPCC was founded in 1884 and its aim then was to protect children from cruelty, support vulnerable families, campaign for changes to the law and raise awareness about abuse.
Today, the NSPCC is inspired by a belief that they can make a difference for all children - by standing up for their rights, by listening to them, by helping them when they need them and by making them safe. Their vision is to end cruelty to children in the UK. The NSPCC believe cruelty is preventable and that through having an inspirational vision they will achieve much greater success for children.
Throughout the year we hope to support the NSPCC through a number of individual and corporate activities.
