We know that few people enter into litigation lightly. We'll help you understand the process and give you some firm indications of your chances of success, the likely costs and the time it'll take to achieve your result. We have three key steps that we take at the beginning of each project:
- We take your brief, understand what you need to achieve and tell you whether or not we're able to help.
- We agree the strategy with you, deciding whether an aggressive or conciliatory approach is most likely to produce the result you need. We keep the strategy under close review throughout the project.
- We appoint the right person, in terms of both skill set and personality, to your project.
We'll always consider negotiation and alternative methods of dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration, areas where the team has strong skills and a good track record. However, if matters do need to be resolved through the courts then you can rely on our litigators to deliver.
Each member of the team has a good and solid grounding in general litigation matters and we also encourage people to develop specialisms. This means our clients can often take advantage of some very specific and insightful knowledge.
