An introduction from the Training Principal

Berryman was one of only seven firms nominated for an award in the category "Best Recruiter - Medium regional firm" at the LCN/TSG awards 2005. Candidates tell us they enjoy our selection day even if they are not selected, largely because we do things differently. We hope that you'll consider the experience a valuable one.

We value our trainees highly. You are not just an extra fee-earner or employed to run menial errands. You are here to train and to become the solicitors, associates and partners of the future. We put a good deal of our own time into making sure you can achieve those goals, and we hope you will use well the opportunities we can give you.

We like to think that life as a trainee here is exciting, that we'll challenge you and stretch you whilst always supporting you. We offer up to three training contracts each year and (owing to various secondments) may have up to seven trainees working with us at any one time.
